Artist Bio

**Lenny French – Contemporary Artist**

Lenny French is an artist based in McEwen, Tennessee, whose work explores spirituality, symbolism, and raw emotion. Influenced by dyslexia, French’s creative process includes blessing paints with Holy Water and using underwritings on canvas as offerings to the divine. His art is deeply inspired by primitive cave paintings, the rebellious energy of 1980s German punk art, and the works of Franz Marc, Edvard Munch, and Jim Morrison’s poetry.

French’s pieces focus on themes of survival, resilience, and critiques of societal oppression. He primarily works with oil paints, oil pastels, and acrylics on canvas or watercolor paper. His work has been showcased in galleries across Rockford, IL, Chicago, and shared with a global audience through his Instagram, [@leonardos_workshop](https://instagram.com/leonardos_workshop), where he invites followers into his creative process.
